What changed

Your published catalogue is now a shop. Every item has "Add to cart" and a cart bar sits at the bottom. The buyer enters a name, phone and address and chooses "Online, now" or "Cash on delivery".

The public catalogue with "Add to cart" buttons

Each order creates an invoice, and items linked to stock are set aside. In the panel, the "Online shop" screen lists orders, and you move each along with "Mark sent", "Mark delivered" and "Cash received". Cancelling returns the stock and withdraws the invoice.

Online shop orders in the panel

How to use it

  1. Under "Workspace", open Online shop.
  2. Switch on "The shop takes orders", choose the payment methods, set the delivery fee and a checkout note, and press "Open the shop".
  3. Send customers the public catalogue link, or put it on your site and social pages.
  4. New orders arrive under Orders. Press "Mark sent" when it leaves, "Mark delivered" when it arrives, and for cash on delivery "Cash received" once paid.

Good to know

  • The catalogue must be published for the shop to open.
  • Online payment needs a payment gateway set up.
  • Shop settings are for the business manager; recording cash received needs billing management.

Editing a gateway brings its form into view

On Payment gateways, Edit moves the page to that gateway's form, rings it for a moment, and puts the cursor in the first field. On a phone the form used to open off screen.
