Sharper prospecting: tag inputs, customer industries and copied targeting

A campaign's industries, cities and keywords are now entered as tags, searches look for your customers' trades rather than your own, and one campaign's targeting can be copied into another.

What changed

In "Prospecting (NabuProspect)" several things got simpler and more precise:

  • Tag inputs: "Industries", "Cities", "Keywords" and "Exclude keywords" are entered one at a time: type an item and press Enter to make it a tag.
  • Customer industries: targeting has a new field, "Customer industries to search". Once you approve the targeting, searching and scoring follow those trades, so you find likely buyers instead of competitors.
  • Fresh results each pass: every search pass reads one results page deeper (up to five), so repeated searches bring new companies. If a search engine blocks the work, the campaign pauses and the owner is told, instead of quietly finding nothing.
  • Copy targeting: an approved targeting brief can be copied into a new campaign in one click.

Tag inputs for industries, cities and keywords in a prospecting campaign

How to use it

  1. Under "Marketing and website", open Prospecting (NabuProspect) and open or create a campaign.
  2. In "Industries", "Cities" and "Keywords", type each item and press Enter.
  3. In Targeting, write the trades you sell to under "Customer industries to search" and approve the targeting.
  4. To reuse an earlier campaign's targeting, pick it under Copy from another campaign and press "Copy".
  5. Results are on Found companies.

Good to know

  • The console can run the targeting interview with numbered options too, but final approval happens only in the panel.
  • This screen is for roles allowed to send campaigns.

Editing a gateway brings its form into view

On Payment gateways, Edit moves the page to that gateway's form, rings it for a moment, and puts the cursor in the first field. On a phone the form used to open off screen.
