What changed

The new "Purchase orders (NabuPurchase)" screen follows buying from a supplier from start to finish:

  • Write an order with the supplier's name and phone and lines taken from your stock items.
  • Once sent, press "Mark as sent to the supplier".
  • When goods arrive, "Receive goods" takes all or part of them. "Receive into stock" raises stock and records the supplier's bill in Expenses with the due date you set on the order.
  • "Draft orders for low stock" drafts orders for everything running low in one click.

The purchase order list with each order's status

A purchase order with its lines and a partial delivery

In Stock (NabuStock), each item can also have a "Reorder quantity" and a task board. When it runs low, a reorder task is put on that board.

How to use it

  1. Under "Money and accounting", open Purchase orders (NabuPurchase).
  2. Press "New purchase order", enter the supplier and payment days, and add lines with "Add to the order".
  3. After sending it, press "Mark as sent to the supplier".
  4. When goods arrive, press "Receive goods", enter what came, and press "Receive into stock".
  5. To see the recorded bill, press "Open in Expenses".
  6. The "Still open", "Partly received" and "All orders" filters keep the list tidy.

Good to know

  • The screen is for roles with billing access.
  • Purchase orders work with Stock and Expenses, and the bills show in "Books" under "You owe".

Editing a gateway brings its form into view

On Payment gateways, Edit moves the page to that gateway's form, rings it for a moment, and puts the cursor in the first field. On a phone the form used to open off screen.
